Making A Purchase
Making a purchase is easy. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. You can also 'save' your order and return to it to continue
We accept credit card payment via our Payment Service Provider 'PayPal' who accept most major credit and debit cards, easier still if you are keen eBay'er and already have a PayPal account of course! We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. We make no additional charge for PayPal fees. The fastest and most secure method is to pay via the website and PayPal. Our site encrypts your information, whereas an unencrypted email is a risk you are wise to avoid.
Alternatively, you may prefer to print off your order (which we have received at the time of ordering as 'pending payment') and send a copy with a cheque made to 'Parts and Pumps' at the address shown above. Please write your order number on the reverse of the cheque. The order will be despatched as soon as the cheque is shown as 'cleared'.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the new price is acceptable.
Please ensure you are ordering a pump sufficiently capable for your predicted needs. If you are unsure, please email us with any questions PRIOR to ordering. We'll be happy to check out your requirements with our experts so you know you are ordering the right pump. Same applies for any parts, if in any doubt, ask before ordering. You should note however, that any advice is given in good faith, based on the information supplied to us verbally and without liability for any omissions or incorrect information.
Installation & Application Notes - IMPORTANT
We do not accept liability or damages caused by pump failure whatsoever. Each pump installation and end user useage differs and is not under our control. Whilst we warranty all pumps for 12 months from date of dispatch, your guarantee does not cover the following scenarios:
Ingress of foul air
Ingress of water

We supply to UK and Ireland ONLY. For the the UK Mainland, we provide a fixed-fee charge for delivery irrespective of order size.
UK next-day delivery is not offered or guaranteed.
When ordering be aware that YOU NEED TO BE AVAILABLE AT THE SPECIFIED DELIVERY ADDRESS, TO SIGN FOR THE GOODS. The courier will not leave the package without a signature. There may be additional shipping charges if the courier has to try several times to deliver the goods, or they are returned to us undelivered. If in doubt, select an alternative delivery address (i.e. your business address) to ensure receipt of the delivery. Delivery times cannot be specified.
On receipt it is the customers responsibility to check the condition of the packaging BEFORE accepting delivery. IF IN DOUBT, REJECT THE DELIVERY, a damaged shipping box may well indicate damaged contents. Once signed for as 'received in good condition' any damage discovered thereafter is the customers responsibility.
Orders received are usually processed at the end of that day in one batch, then shipped from our warehouse the following working day. Though this is our goal, it is not a guaranteed service level.
You need to sign for the goods on delivery.
We have instant access to large stock levels, however in the very rare case that your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, your credit card numbers are not requested until you arrive at our payment solution provider where they are then taken securely and encrypted. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
KINDLY NOTE THAT PUMPS RETURNED UNDER A WARRANTY CLAIM WHICH, UPON INSPECTION, HAVE AN SIGNS OF FAULTY INSTALLATION, DAMAGE DUE TO BEING DROPPED OR MISHANDLED, FLOODING OR FOUL AIR INGRESS THE WARRANTY IS RENDERED NULL & VOID. YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR ALL COURIER CHARGES (INCLUDING COLLECTION AND, IF THE PUMP IS THEN SUBSEQUENTLY TO YOU, PLUS COSTS FOR ANY PARTS & REPAIRS AND THE COST OF DELIVERY BACK TO YOU).
Therefore, to avoid unneccessary charges, we try where possible to run through some basic checks with you to see if the problem can be identified PRIOR to collecting it for inspection. Please bear with us whilst we run through some of these with you (we're only doing it to potentially save YOU delays and charges).
Secoh pumps are designed for self-maintenance and inspection, therefore under most circumstances warranties are not effected by you opening the pump up to look inside !

Unopened, unused / uninstalled items (full pack contents only) can be returned, at your expense, for a cost of goods* refund (shipping charges are not refundable) within 28 days of delivery.
* CREDIT CARD / PAYPAL CHARGES : Note that we will refund the full cost of the product LESS any unrecoverable costs for authorising and arranging your payment (if this option was selected by you).
Please note that proof of postage is not accepted as proof of delivery and goods arriving back with us in an unsaleable or damaged condition will not be elible for a refund. All returns must be authorised before sending (call 0207 193 0852 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for a returns code) and then only via an insured courier or registered (and insured to the value of the products) mail as an absolute minimum. Items lost or damaged via uninsured transit will not be refunded.
